Does The Knot offer creative control over wedding invitation design elements?

Yes, The Knot provides significant creative control by allowing you to move, resize, and layer design elements within our templates. While we provide a professional foundation, The Knot’s drag-and-drop interface gives you the flexibility to add custom text boxes, shapes, and photos to create a one-of-a-kind design.

How does The Knot ensure my custom design is ready to print?

The Knot includes built-in guardrails like a shaded line border (think of these as safety lines) to ensure your text isn't cut off during printing, but we also offer human expertise. If you have a complex request, you can leave a design note during the checkout process; a professional designer will review your request and email you a proof for final approval within three business days.

How does The Knot’s design tool compare to DIY platforms?

The Knot’s design editing tool offers the creative flexibility of a DIY platform while maintaining the high standards of a professional stationery house. Unlike generic design apps, our design editor is specifically optimized for wedding paper, ensuring your colors, fonts, and photo resolutions are perfectly calibrated for high-quality printing.
