Why do my invitations look darker than what I ordered / my proofs?

  • Since screens are backlit, the digital preview will generally be about 80-90% accurate in showing colors. It's normal to see some differences between the digital proof and the printed results.
  • When looking at proofs, especially those with images, we suggest lowering your screen brightness to 30-40%. This can help you get a better idea of how the final print might look.
  • Photos or products printed on a more matte paper, like our Signature paper option, may appear less bright or colorful compared to those printed on photo paper or glossy paper. Both Signature Smooth and Pearlescent are excellent choices for your photos!
