How do I use the Budget Advisor?

The Budget Advisor provides insights and cost estimates for weddings in your area. It offers a breakdown of average costs, detailed vendor information, and allows users to customize and set their goal budget. Users can personalize their budget by selecting vendors and adjusting their allocations, with additional tips on saving money. The tool aims to give a clear picture of wedding expenses and help plan within a set budget.

 

Let’s take a look at how to make the most of its features!

 

You can find your Budget Advisor HERE

  • You’ll see a breakdown of the average wedding costs in your area.
  • Clicking on any section of the circle will provide more detailed information on the right-hand side.
  • In the example below, you can see that Catering was selected, and additional details about catering in your wedding location are available.
  • To tailor your budget, simply choose "Start Your Budget."

 

Customize Your Budget with Us!

  • You'll find a detailed breakdown of all the wedding services available for your budget. (see image below)
  • This gives you a nice overview of how the budget totals are organized.

Add your Goal Budget!

  • We’ve shared some estimates, but we understand that your figures may vary.
  • Please choose "Set your goal budget."
  • Input your total budget and save it.

 

 

 

Personalize your budget!

  • Choose the vendors you intend to hire to help you get a clearer picture of a realistic budget.
  • Your Total Budget will be displayed, along with the amount allocated to your chosen vendors.
  • This will give you an idea of how much budget remains for other vendors and expenses.

 

Personalize your Vendor Budget

  • Just pick a vendor, and a fly-out window will appear for that vendor.
  • You'll find the estimated budget there, and you can click the pencil icon to adjust the budget for that vendor.
  • Additionally, you'll see useful information about factors that can affect the price for that vendor.
  • We also provide some tips to help you save money with that vendor.
