You can contribute to a couple’s cash fund on The Knot using a credit card, debit card, or Venmo. When you choose to pay with your Venmo balance or a linked bank account, there are no fees*, giving you more ways to send a gift in the way that works best for you.
1. Search for the Couple: On your mobile device, visit the couple’s wedding website and link to their registry or visit The Knot Registry Couple Search. Enter the first and last name of either partner, along with the month and year of their wedding, then select Search.
2. Open their Registry: Find the couple in the search results and select “Our Registry” to view their registry.
Some couples can choose to password-protect their wedding website. If a password is required, you can typically find it on their save-the-date or wedding invitation.
3. Choose a cash fund to contribute to: Cash funds will appear alongside the couple’s physical gifts. Select the cash fund you’d like to contribute to, choose or enter your gift amount, and securely check out using a credit card, debit card, or Venmo.
4. Complete your contribution: Follow the checkout prompts to send your gift. To contribute with no fees*, select Venmo pay using your Venmo balance or linked bank account.
*3% fee when sending money via Venmo with a credit card.
