Follow the steps below to add guests to your guest list so that you can begin collecting RSVPs.
Within our app:
You can add guests in-app by selecting "Planning" and then "Guest List." Select "Guest List" again, and at the bottom of the page, you'll have the option to "Add a Guest +." You'll select that and fill in guest info. Guests will show as "invited," which will not send them an alert, it will just allow them to RSVP when you've shared your site information with them. Be sure to save and close each group. The phrasing is a little vague, so you'll want to completely back out of the group to be sure that you're creating a new group.
Desktop: You can add guests by going to "Guest List" under Planning Tools. Select "Add Guest" and choose if you want to add an individual guest, import guests from a spreadsheet, or text guests for their information. Guests will show as "invited," which will not send them an alert, it will just allow them to RSVP when you've shared your site information with them.
If you need to add guests to additional events:
All of your guests can be found under "All Events” on the left menu of your Guest List. You can invite your guests to as many events as you like. While they will show as “invited” in your Guest List, they will not receive notification that they have been added to your Guest List. It’s best to think of the Guest List Manager as a record keeping feature.
After creating the new event within the Wedding Website pages follow the below steps to add guests to the new event:
- Log into your The Knot account
- Click on Guest List
- Click on [Enter name of event]
- Click on Add Guest
- Select guests to be added to the event by using the select options
- Click on Update RSVP Status
- Scroll through status options and select [Enter name of event]- Invited
- Click on Apply to Guests
