Contributions funded in Venmo with a credit card will incur Venmo’s standard credit card fee and couples will receive 100% of the gift.
What happens if a guest uses Venmo but I need to modify or refund the gift?
Because Venmo transactions operate as peer-to-peer payments, any modifications, accidental duplicate gifts, or refunds must be handled directly between the couple and their guest inside the Venmo app. If the couple requires any further help, contact Venmo’s Support team. The Knot cannot hold, manage, or reverse Venmo transactions once they are sent.
Is Venmo available for guests to contribute on their desktop?
Guests may contribute to a couple’s Cash Fund on The Knot via Venmo using their mobile device. Venmo contributions to The Knot Cash Fund are currently not available on desktop. Guests should access a couple’s registry from their mobile device to be guided through the process to make Cash Fund contributions through Venmo.
